Jemima is a supporting character. She is the youngest of the four female kittens. She is very friendly and is one of the few cats who tries to reach out to Grizabella initially. She is chosen by Old Deuteronomy to be psychically relayed Memory, and eventually uses this to help Grizabella.
When the production came to America they changed her name to Sillabub in order to avoid negative racial connotations. Many productions since then have used Sillabub instead of Jemima.
Her three words are: “Innocent, Compassionate, Young” or “Dreamy, Yearning, Curious”
