Grizabella is a principal character. She was once known as the Glamour Cat, however she is now decrepit and washed up. She is an outcast, though the reasons for this are unspecified. She longs for the days when she was beautiful and loved, but the Jellicles refuse to accept her again. She tries again and again, finally reaching them with the help of Jemima.
