Etcetera is an ensemble character. She is one of the four female kittens. She is the most hyperactive of the kittens, and is the biggest fan of Rum Tum Tugger, delivering the loud scream at the end of his song.
Etcetera is not in many productions, however she has become a well known character due to her role in the 1998 film. In the original Broadway run, Etcetera would be the one to dress up as “trash puppet” Rumpleteazer, but when the trash puppet sequence was revised they replaced Etcetera with Rumpleteazer. Her same costume was used for Rumpleteazer, which is why many American productions have Rumpleteazers who resemble Etcetera.
