Bombalurina is a principal character. She is extremely self-confident, flirtatious, and loves to be the center of attention. Though she is incredibly kind to and protective of those she loves, she can be harsh as well. We see this side of her when Grizabella comes around.
She often takes a protective role over Demeter, which is evident in the Macavity duet. She can be seen checking in on her any time Demeter begins to show signs of worry. The London Revival era website states that her and Demeter share a “stirring hatred towards Macavity” which only serves to bring them closer together.
